Hours Keeper Pro - Timesheet, Tracking & Billing App Reviews

I use this app daily to keep track of my hours, but there is an issue with screen rendering. If you are hotspoting it, or google mapping it, the top bar that stays on the top of your iphone pushes clockin and clockout off the screen. Also the developer website doesnt even have this app listed for support.

Lets be fair - the app works well for what it is. 3 stars to me means average. Anything more would be above average. This app is good for keeping track of one project per client at a time. Clean interface - which I love. Several things could make this app stellar - adding multiple projects to each client would be a really nice feature. An option that lets you set a total budget for a clients project (instead of an hourly rate) and counts down backwards on that set budget until the project runs out of funds would be fantastic as well. Also, I have both versions now and if there is a difference between the two - I havent spotted it yet.

I used to love this app. However, for the last few months I have been noticing that it does not calculate my hours correctly. When I pull up a report for the month, some clients show less income then I actually have according to the hours I worked. I end up having to add everything up manually with the calculator to doublecheck, which defeats the purpose of having this app!

App has worked well for me for the past 2.5 years until I upgraded my iPhone from a 6+ to a 7+. Restored iPhone using a fresh backup; but not all of the data transferred. Thankfully I still had my old 6+ when I noticed problem. I backed up the 6+ data to my Mac using a web browser & their backup/restore feature. I then attempted to restore the data at least 15 times on the new iPhone; but only the most recent events from one client appeared (out of 20 clients). In a last attempt to solve the problem, on the new iPhone I reverted to an old version (2.7.1) of the Hours Keeper app from an old iPhone backup. I then attempted a restore again (it didnt work, of course). But then I noticed an "options" button on the open file dialog screen (screen for locating the backup file for restoral). I clicked the button (more files showed up in the selection window). I selected the same backup file as before and after an attempt or two, all data was finally restored to the new iPhone. I attempted the exact same scenario on my iPad Pro (which had the same restoral issue). It also worked after two attempts. I have no idea what the "options" button did. But at least I was able to restore all of my data. Lesson learned: backup and export data often if it is important to you. I queried support a few days ago But based off of customer comments here & on their Facebook page, I know I will not receive a response. I would therefore recommend staying away from this company and all of their apps.

This app is now very buggy, it looks terrible, and there is NO developer support. This app cannot even be found on the developers Website. How they are allowed to continue to sell on the app store is beyond me. Save your money and your sanity.

Im an assistant editor for video. I get lots of different clients at different hour rates, day rates, etc. this app has taken the headache out of keeping track of everything. It works exactly how I want. The invoicing is amazing too. Never write reviews, but this one is worth taking the time to write this. A+

After using this app for year and a half, it just disappeared off my phone and all my records are gone. It doesnt recognize my username and there is no tech-support. What a huge huge huge huge pain.

An update came out that rendered this app useless for me in spring of 2016 (I gave the app 1 star at the time). They fixed the problem and I am giving them 5 stars again. It has worked well for what I need and am glad to be using it again.

I like this app but need update to add app for Apple Watch to easy clock in and out please add that function

IT WAS 5 stars UNTIL THIS LAST UPDATE WHEN IT ERASED 4 YEARS OF DATA. NOW I LOST ALL MY TIME SHEETS FOR EVERYONE. Disgusting. I emailed them and they cant even receive it because their inbox is full. This is downright disgusting for a paid app that people trust their financial life to.

Love this app. Multi clients time keeping and billing. Very easy to keep time for everyone separately. Can time into to invoice and email quickly. Love the clock in, clock out....dont even have to think about it.

The latest update, to version 3.4.2, cleared all of my data. The update stated "Minor bug fixed," and nothing more. Little did I know that after the updater, I would need a user login! I openned the app after updating, and none of my timesheets and invoices were there! Appxy hasnt replied to my emails. The developers site doesnt list this app. There is no support.

Good app, even if the UI could be smoother/ more intuitive. Main gripe is that every time it updates, I have to log in again. Annoying, but at least its good that they keep the app current.

Very good app but we cannot backup online on cloud or dropbox, if we want to share informations with iphone and ipad....

Very nice app. Would like to be able to add transportation fees and make recurring events.
